Some general information below about our Santa Special Day.
Our staff will be pleased to answer any additional queries on our usual open days.
Please Remember that as this event takes place in the open in December, some warm/wet weather clothing will be useful. On the subject of the weather, our trains will run whatever the weather!
Each ticket is valid for travel for the child/ren and up to two adults per booking form. Please keep the amount of Adults to a minimum, as it will cause delays everyone for the rest of the day! All Children Must sit astride the coaches.
Block Bookings can be taken, up to a maximum of 25 children, please ring for time of train available. If you do not ring, we cannot guarantee that you will all be on the same Santa Train.
If you arrive late, please make yourself known as soon as possible to the Duty Officer or Stella, who will do their best to accommodate you, however a delay may be unavoidable.
Please wait for your train at Willowbank Station departure platform, near the signal box at your allotted time.
Please make sure that when you start your journey that you all sit together on the train with your tickets ready for when you enter the North Pole Station. Santa will need to see your ticket in order to give you your gift.
You will not disembark the train at the North Pole station, Santa will visit you on the train! We regret that camcorder users will not be able to disembark the train at the North Pole Station.
If your child is unwell on the day, you can pick up their present if you bring the Santa Tickets with you on the day of the event, and ask to speak to Stella.
Should the need arise where the child’s ticket needs altering, please contact Stella on the number below before the 16th November 2008. As all presents are individually labelled with the child’s name and age. We regret that we cannot make any alterations whatsoever after that date.
If you have mislaid your tickets, please contact Stella as soon as you arrive. No Tickets will be changed on the day of the event. Please check your tickets as soon as you receive them. If there is a problem, please ring Stella and state the problem. If sending tickets back to be exchanged, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope for your new tickets.

After your visit to Santa, remember our raised level track, shop which will be selling a variety of items and Christmas stocking fillers, and refreshments in our railway buffet are all available to you.
